第二部分 阅读理解(共两节,满分35分)
第一节:(共10小题;每小题2.5分,满分25分)
阅读下列短文,从每题所给的A、B、C和D四个选项中,选出最佳选项。
A
I
was
blind,
but
I
was
ashamed
of
it
if
it
was
known.
I
refused
to
use
a
white
stick
and
hated
asking
for
help.
After
all,
I
was
a
teenage
girl,
and
I
couldn't
bear
people
to
look
at
me
and
think
I
was
not
like
them.
I
must
have
been
a
terrible
danger
on
the
roads.
Coming
across
me
wandering
through
the
traffic,
motorists
probably
would
have
to
step
rapidly
on
their
brakes.
Apart
from
that,
there
were
all
sorts
of
disasters
that
used
to
occur
on
the
way
to
and
from
work.
One
evening,
I
got
off
the
bus
about
halfway
home
where
I
had
to
change
buses,
and
as
usual
I
ran
into
something.“I'm
awfully
sorry,”
I
said
and
stepped
forward
only
to
run
into
it
again.
When
it
happened
a
third
time,
I
realized
I
had
been
apologizing
to
a
lamppost.
This
was
just
one
of
the
stupid
things
that
constantly
happened
to
me.
So
I
carried
on
and
found
the
bus
stop,
which
was
a
request
stop,
where
the
bus
wouldn't
stop
unless
passengers
wanted
to
get
on
or
off.
No
one
else
was
there
and
I
had
to
try
to
guess
if
the
bus
had
arrived.
Generally
in
this
situation,
because
I
hated
showing
I
was
blind
by
asking
for
help,
I
tried
to
guess
at
the
sound.
Sometimes
I
would
stop
a
big
lorry
and
stand
there
feeling
stupid
as
it
drew
away.
In
the
end,
I
usually
managed
to
swallow
my
pride
and
ask
someone
at
the
stop
for
help.
But
on
this
particular
evening
no
one
joined
me
at
the
stop;
it
seemed
that
everyone
had
suddenly
decided
not
to
travel
by
bus.
Of
course
I
heard
plenty
of
buses
pass,
or
I
thought
I
did.
But
because
I
had
given
up
stopping
them
for
fear
of
making
a
fool
of
myself,
I
let
them
all
go
by.
I
stood
there
alone
for
half
an
hour
without
stopping
one.
Then
I
gave
up.
I
decided
to
walk
on
to
the
next
stop.
21.The
girl
refused
to
ask
for
help
because
she
thought
________.
A.she
might
be
recognized
B.asking
for
help
looked
silly
C.she
was
normal
and
independent
D.being
found
blind
was
embarrassing
22.After
the
girl
got
off
the
bus
that
evening,
she
________.
A.began
to
run
B.hit
a
person
as
usual
C.hit
a
lamppost
by
accident
D.was
caught
by
something
23.What
was
the
problem
with
guessing
at
the
sound
to
stop
a
bus?
A.Other
vehicles
also
stopped
there.
B.It
was
unreliable
for
making
judgments.
C.More
lorries
than
buses
responded
to
the
girl.
D.It
took
too
much
time
for
the
girl
to
catch
the
bus.
B
Monique
Udell,
a
researcher
with
Oregon
State
University,
got
the
help
of
ten
domesticated
(驯养的)
dogs,
ten
dogs
that
live
in
shelters,
and
ten
wolves
raised
by
humans.
Each
of
the
animals
was
presented
with
a
tasty
sausage
which
they
could
smell,
but
not
eat.
The
sausage
was
then
placed
inside
a
plastic
container
with
a
cover
connected
to
a
short
length
of
rope.
In
order
to
open
the
container
and
eat
the
sausage,
they
had
to
pull
on
the
rope
while
holding
down
the
container,
a
task
considered
fairly
simple
for
dogs
and
wolves.
The
experiment
was
conducted
in
two
ways,
one
in
which
the
animals
were
alone,
and
the
other
one
in
which
they
were
with
their
owners.
Surprisingly,
none
of
the
pet
dogs
was
able
to
complete
the
task,
and
only
one
of
the
shelter
dogs
did
so.
However,
eight
out
of
ten
wolves
succeeded.
The
presence
of
a
human
made
no
difference.
When
the
owner
offered
encouragements,
four
of
the
shelter
dogs
were
able
to
access
the
sausage,
but
still
only
one
pet
managed
to
do_it.
Udell
also
made
an
interesting
note:
pet
dogs
have
lived
alongside
humans
for
a
long
time,
and
therefore,
when
feeling
confused
about
a
new
situation,
they
tend
to
look
at
their
owners
for
help.
The
dogs
were
asking
for
help,
while
the
wolves
didn't
give
up
and
tried
to
solve
the
problem
themselves.
This
experiment
seems
to
show
that
something
about
being
pets
made
dogs
lose
a
big
part
of
their
motivation
and
this
affects
their
problem?solving
ability.
Perhaps
even
more
interesting
is
the
fact
that
shelter
dogs
did
somewhat
better
than
house
dogs
—
which
indicates
that
being
a
pet
makes
dogs
“softer”
and
less
motivated
to
solve
problems.
However,
things
are
not
as
simple
as
saying
that
wolves
are
“smarter”
or
“more
creative”
than
dogs.
24.The
sausages
used
in
the
experiment
________.
A.had
a
disgusting
smell
B.came
from
some
shelters
C.were
directly
tied
to
a
rope
D.could
be
reached
with
very
little
effort
25.As
for
the
pet
dogs
in
the
experiment,
the
presence
of
their
owners
________.
A.produced
a
negative
result
B.made
them
totally
confused
C.had
little
effect
on
their
performance
D.gave
them
the
greatest
encouragement
26.What
does
the
underlined
part
“do
it”
in
Paragraph
2
probably
refer
to?
A.Pull
on
the
rope.
B.Smell
the
sausage.
C.Open
the
container.
D.Make
a
difference.
C

第二节(共5小题;每小题2分,满分10分)
根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
There
are
so
many
things
we
do
in
our
daily
lives
that
have
become
a
“habit”.
__31__
How
you
answer
the
phone
is
a
habit.
The
way
you
sit
in
the
car
when
you
drive
is
a
habit.
Have
you
ever
tried
to
change
the
way
you
do
something,
after
you've
done
it
in
a
certain
way
for
so
long?
It's
not
very
easy
to
do.
The
minute
your
mind
drifts
to
something
else,
you
go
right
back
to
the
old
way
of
doing
things.
__32__
It's
a
way
of
doing
things
that
has
become
routine
or
commonplace.
To
change
an
existing
habit
or
form
a
new
one
can
be
a
tedious
task.
Let's
pick
something
fairly
easy
to
start
with,
like
spending
15
minutes
in
the
morning
reading
the
Bible.
If
you
want
to
turn
something
into
a
habit
that
you
do
every
day,
you
have
to
WANT
to
do
it.
__33__
Make
a
firm
decision
to
do
this
on
a
daily
basis.
Imprint
it
in
your
mind.
Write
several
notes
to
yourself
and
put
them
in
places
where
you
will
see
them.
By
the
alarm
clock,
on
the
bathroom
mirror,
on
the
refrigerator
door,
in
your
briefcase,
and
under
your
car
keys
are
good
places
to
start.
After
the
newness
wears
off,
then
you
will
have
to
remind
yourself,
“Hey,
I
forgot
to...”
Keep
using
the
notes
if
you
have
to,
__34__
Some
people
say
it
will
take
over
a
month
to
solidify
it
and
make
it
something
you
will
do
without
having
to
think
about
it.
I
tend
to
agree
with
the
last
statement.
Two
to
three
weeks
will
help
you
to
remember,
but
thirty
days
or
more
will
make
it
a
part
of
your
everyday
routine.
__35__
A.What
is
a
“habit”
anyway?
B.Is
doing
things
in
an
old
way
good?
C.Brushing
your
teeth
is
a
habit.
D.Forming
a
bad
habit
is
easy.
E.It
takes
16
to
21
times
of
repeating
a
task
to
make
it
a
habit.
F.If
you
don't,
you
will
find
a
way
to
do
everything
about
that.
G.That's
something
you
won't
necessarily
have
to
think
about
before
you
do
it
—
habit.

at
a
young
age,
I've
learned
things
no
other
child
gets
the
opportunity
to.
If
I
could
go
back
and
give
my
8?year?old

“Bryce,
what

about
to
experience

going
to
be
one
of
the
__46__
things
anyone
could

going
to
have
days
when
your
body
is
so
weak
that
others
will
have
to
__47__
you
so
that
you
can
eat,
drink,
or
sit
up.
You'll
be
so
__48__
that
for
a
year
you
won't
be
able
to
go
__49__
unless
you
wear
a
mask.”
“That
sounds
bad,
but
it
doesn't
__50__
what
you'll
learn
because
of
it.
You'll
learn
that
no
matter
what
bad
things
__51__
to
you,
you
should
make
a
good
life
out
of
what
is
left.
You'll
learn
that
you
can
never
judge
a
person
because
you
just
don't
know
what
__52__,
illnesses,
or
trials
they've
been
through.”
To
this
day,
my
cancer
experience
works
__53__
a
reminder
that

第四部分 写作(共两节,满分40分)
第一节:应用文写作(满分15分)
假如你是高二学生李华,你校于今日(周五)举办秋季运动会,现在写一篇英语日记,记述运动会上让你难忘的一件事以及该事件的影响。
注意:
1.词数80左右;
2.可以适当增加细节,以使行文连贯。
第二节:概要写作(满分25分)
阅读下面短文,根据所给情节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事。
I
have
a
daily
routine.
Every
night,
I
end
my
hour?long
subway
one
stop
early,
just
so
I
can
eat
at
my
favorite
diner.
But
one
night
last
month,
as
I
stepped
off
the
No.
6
train
and
onto
a
nearly
empty
platform,
my
evening
took
an
unexpected
turn.
I
was
walking
toward
the
stairs
when
a
teenage
boy
approached
and
pulled
out
a
knife.
He
wanted
my_money,_so
I
just
gave
him
my_wallet
and
told
him,
“Here
you
go.”
As
the_teen
began
to
walk
away,
I
told
him,
“Hey,
wait
a
minute.
You
forgot
something.
If
you're
going
to
be
robbing
people
for
the
rest
of
the
night,
you
might
as
well
take
my_coat
to
keep
you
warm.”
He
asked
me,
“Why
are
you
doing
this?”
I
replied,
“If
you're
willing
to
risk
your
freedom
for
a
few
dollars,
then
I
guess
you
must
really
need
the
money.
I
mean,
all
I
wanted
to
do
was
get
dinner
and
if
you
really
want
to
join
me...hey,
you're
more
than
welcome.”
I
just
felt
maybe
he
really
needed
help.
The
teen
and
I
went
into
the_diner
and
sat
in
a
booth.
The
manager,
the
dishwashers,
and
the
waiters
all
came
by
to
say
hi.
The
kid
was
like,
“You
know
everybody
here.
Do
you
own
this
place?”
“No,
I
just
eat
here
a
lot,”
I
told
the
teen.
He
said,
“But
you're
even
nice
to
the
dishwashers.”
I
replied,
“Well,
haven't
you
been
taught
you
should
be
nice
to
everybody?”
“Yea,
but
I
didn't
think
people
actually
behaved
that
way,”
the
teen
said.
注意:
1.所续写短文的词数应为150左右;
2.至少使用5个短文中标有下划线的关键词语;
3.续写部分分为两段,每段的开头语已为你写好;

very

I

W:Wow,
I
really

M:Don't
envy

M:Are
you
watching

now
showing
on

W:No.
I
haven't
been
watching
it.
I
don't
care
much
for
soap
operas.
They
are
just
not
my
cup
of
tea.
M:I
agree
with
you.
They
are
too
confusing
and
far
from
reality.But
a
lot
of
people
enjoy
watching
them.
They
say
soaps
are
entertaining.
W:Yes.
Only
two
kinds
of
people
like
watching
soap
operas.
M:Who
are
they?
W:Those
who
don't
have
to
work
and
those
who
have
too
much
work.
The
former
needs
something
to
help
them
kill
time,
and
the
latter
needs
something
to
take
their
minds
off
work.
M:You
are
exactly
right.
I
prefer
news
and
science
programmes.
W:Me
too.
I
think
they
are
both
informative
and
entertaining.

W:I've

you
know
that
it's
absolutely
freezing
out.
I
will
put
a
coat
on,
if
I
were
you.
W:Well,
it
started
raining
since
this
morning
and
it
is
3:00.
M:Oh,
I
guess
we'd
better
grab
our
umbrella
as
well.
W:Good
idea.
But
maybe
we
should
move
the
car.
M:OK,
I'll
go
move
the
car
if
you
turn
the
heat
on.
W:How
long
do
you
think
this
storm
is
supposed
to
last?
M:I
don't
know.
The
weatherman
didn't
say
anything
about
this
last
night.
W:Maybe
we
should
turn
on
the
news
in
case
it
gets
worse.
M:I
don't
think
we
have
anything
to
worry
about.
Do
you
want
to
put
on
a
cup
of

W:Good

That'll
help
us
to
warm
up.

I'm

but
I

to
be
a
bit
lost.
M:Do
you
see
anything
around
you

a

a

W:There's
a
bar
called
“Q

in

M:I
know
where
that
is.
You
must
be
on
Queen's

W:So,
have
I
passed
the
street
you
live
on
yet?
M:Unfortunately,
you
must
have
passed
it
a
while
ago.
W:I've
really
got
no
sense
of
direction,
do
I?
M:Don't
worry.
I
can
tell
you
how
to
get
here.
Do
you
have
an
up?to?date

in
your
car?
W:Yes,
I'm
looking
at
one
now.
M:Do
you
see
Queen's

W:Yes.
M:Good.
You
need
to
go
back
the
way
you
came.
Follow
it
east
for
about
5
miles.
You'll
get
to
a
roundabout.
Take

you'll

M:We
all
waste
money,
so
what
is
something
you
waste
money
on?
W:Probably
movie
rentals.
I
am
capable
of
renting
five
movies
a
week.
M:I
have
a
huge
problem
with
movie
rentals,
not
so
much
the
movie
rental
but
the
late
fee.
I'll
have
a
movie
for
two
weeks,
and
I
have
to
pay
for
the
late
fee.
W:You
should
do
what
I
did.
I
moved
to
a
new
apartment
last
month,
which
is
right
in
front
of
a
movie
rental
place.
M:That's
the
solution.
Well,
these
days
you
can
actually
download
movies
on
the
Internet
which
is
really
convenient.
W:Usually
many
of
these
websites
where
you
can
legally
download
movies
are
only
for
Americans.
M:Do
you
spend
a
lot
of
money
on
other
things
like
music
and
telephone
charges?
W:Telephone
charges,
yes.
Music
not
as
much.
But
the
thing
I
definitely
spend
the
most
money
on
is
books.
M:Well,
actually
it's
funny
because
those
are
the
things
I
never
waste
money
on.
I
hate
talking
on
the
phone.
And
for
books,
go
to
the
library.
It's
free.

National
Love
Our
Children
Day
began
in
America
in
2004.
It
falls
on
the
first
Saturday
in
April.
Its
aim
is
to
stress
the
importance
of
love
as
children
grow
up.
It
also
wants
to
promote
the
strengthening
of
families
and
raise
awareness
of
the
need
to
protect
children
from
the
harmful
sides
of
society.
National
Love
Our
Children
Day
was
started
by
the
non?profit
organization
Love
Our
Children
USA.
It
helps
to
organize
events
across
America
to
make
children
feel
special.
It
advises
parents
to
spend
the
day
with
the
children
and
teens
in
their
life!
Shower
them
with
special
attention.
Take
them
to
a
movie,
game,
fair,
concert,
shopping
or
out
to
lunch.
Do
something
special
together
or
buy
them
something
they've
been
wanting
for
a
long
time—just
because
you
love
them!New
York
City
Mayor
Michael
Bloomberg
also
had
words
of
advice.
He
said,
“All
of
our
children
deserve
the
love,
encouragement,
and
respect
they
need
to
reach
their
full
potential
today
and
every
day
of
the
year.”

Today,ourschool_held_the_autumn_sports_meeting,_which_was_exciting_because_many_students_broke_the_records_of_our_school._One_thing_that_made_the_meeting_unforgettable_is_the_400_meters_race,_which_my_classmate_named_Lin_Feng_took_part_in._When_he_was_running,_he_fell_down,_making_all_the_students_worried._However,_he_stood_up_and_continued_to_run_with_injuries._When_he_crossed_the_finishing_line,_all_the_audience_stood_up_and_applauded.
From_this_experience,_I_have_realised_that_the_result_is_important,_but_the_challenging_process_is_more_impressive.
Paragraph
1:
I
asked
him
what
he
wanted
out
of
life.
But
he
just
had
almost
a
sad
face.
The_teen
couldn't
answer
me—or
he
didn't
want
to.
When
the
bill
arrived,
I
told
the
teen,
“Look,
I
guess
you're
going
to
have
to
pay
for
this
dinner
because
you
have
my_money
and
I
can't
pay
for
this.
So
if
you
give
me
my_wallet
back,
I'll
gladly
treat
you.”
The
teen
didn't
even
think
about
it
and
returned
the
wallet.
I
gave
him
$20.
Paragraph
2:
I
asked
for
something
in
return
for
the
$20.
So
I
asked
for
the
teen's
knife
and
he
gave
it
to
me.
Afterward,
when
I
told
my
mother
what
had
happened,
she
said,
“You're
the
type
of
kid
that
if
someone
asked
you
for
the
time,
you
would
give
them
your
watch.”
I
figure,
you
know,
if
you
treat
people
right,
you
can
only
hope
that
they
treat
you
right.
It's
as
simple
as
it
gets
in
this
complicated
world.
