第一节:(共10小题;每小题2.5分,满分25分)
阅读下列短文,从每题所给的A、B、C和D四个选项中,选出最佳选项。
A
I
was
on
an
amazing
trip
with
my
wife,
following
Marco,
our
guide
to
experience
the
festival
of
Qoyllur
Rit'i
which
takes
place
at
4,300
metres
in
the
southern
Andes
of
Peru,
a
festival
which
few
foreign
tourists
ever
get
to
see.
People
were
travelling
to
this
festival
from
all
over
Peru.
Among
them
there
were
old
men,
mothers
with
small
babies
and
children
all
following
the
same
route.
Many
of
them
had
horses
to
carry
their
food,
blankets
and
tents.
Some,
like
us,
had
come
by
bus
to
Mahuayani,
the
nearest
town,
and
were
walking
up
from
there.
We
continued
climbing
for
another
hour
and
a
half
before
reaching
the
Sinakara
valley.
There
we
looked
down
on
a
flat
plain
of
open
grassland.
Right
across
this
flat
piece
of
ground
people
were
putting
up
tents
of
blue
plastic
to
protect
themselves
from
the
rain.
Marco
chose
a
spot
to
put
up
our
tent.
Not
far
away
in
an
open
market,
people
were
buying
tiny
houses,
cars
or
small
pictures
showing
a
baby
or
something
else.
Marco
explained
that
these
represented
something
the
pilgrims
(朝圣者)
wanted.
They
would
take
them
and
bury
them
in
the
mountain.
This,
they
believed,
would
make
sure
that
what
they
wished
for
would
come
true
in
the
year
to
come.
After
dinner
we
went
to
bed
fully
clothed
inside
our
sleeping
bags.
We
were
up
early
the
next
morning,
the
main
day
of
the
festival.
The
ukukus,
men
wearing
black
masks
(面罩)
and
bright
costumes,
had
left
their
tents
in
the
early
hours
to
climb
the
nearest
mountain
by
the
light
of
the
full
moon.
They
stopped
to
dance
from
time
to
time,
believing
this
would
bring
luck
to
their
villages.
As
they
came
down,
they
were
joined
by
groups
of
dancers
in
traditional
costumes.
They
performed
wherever
there
was
a
space.
Although
there
did
not
seem
to
be
anyone
organising
them,
the
whole
festival
had
become
a
huge
harmonious
(和谐的)
celebration.
21.Who

of
the
text?
A.A
tour
guide.

D.A
foreign
traveller.
22.On
the
main
day
of
the
festival,
the
ukukus
________.
A.danced
wherever
possible
B.got
up
after
the
sun
came
out
C.danced
to
entertain
the
tourists
D.wore
black
traditional
costumes
23.What
would
be
the
best
title
for
the
text?
A.An
unpleasant
trip
to
Peru
B.The
world's
highest
festival
C.The
history
of
Qoyllur
Rit'i
D.A
disappearing
tradition
in
Peru
B
I've
been
in
China
for
a
little
under
five
weeks
and
it
has
all
gone
by
so
quickly.
Now
I'm
here
reflecting
on
how
this
experience
has
helped
me
better
understand
Chinese
culture.
Before
coming
to
China
I
had
thought
of
different
things
taught
in
class:
US?Chinese
relations,
Shanghai's
history,
Buddhism,
Confucianism
(儒学),
Women
in
Chinese
society,
Chinese
calligraphy
(书法),
Chinese
paintings,
and
many
more.
But
the
truth
is,
as
interesting
as
these
things
are,
you
don't
necessarily
notice
them
daily
while
in
China.
This
being
said,
what
I
really
noticed
is
how
similar
China
and
the
US
can
be.
This
may
be
due
to
the
Western
influence
that
can
be
seen
on
China,
Shanghai
in
particular.
While
on
campus,
here
in
Shanghai,
I've
gotten
to
talk
to
many
different
people.
Except
for
an
obvious
language
difference,
they're
much
like
those
in
the
US
They
like
to
play
sports
in
their
free
time;
they
go
to
college,
or
aim
to;
they
hang
out
with
friends,
etc.
This
isn't
only
true
at
a
Chinese
campus;
I've
noticed
these
similarities
while
staying
with
a
family
as
well.
My
host
parents
go
to
work,
except
for
Saturdays
and
Sundays;
my
host
brother
goes
swimming
almost
every
day
with
his
friend;
they
eat
breakfast,
lunch,
and
dinner;
they
wash
the
clothes,
take
showers,
laugh,
watch
TV,
and
in
most
things
they
do,
we're
the
same.
Now,
Shanghai
is
a
westernized
(西化的)
city,
almost
certainly
the
most
Western
in
China,
but
I
think
that
a
large
part
of
China
is
like
this.
Shanghai
has
a
population
of
over
23
million
people,
which
is
more
than
the
population
of
the
top
8
most
populated
cities
in
the
US
combined.
This_isn't_even_to_mention_that_Shanghai_is_just_one_of_many_large_cities_in_China_that_are_under_the_Western_influence.
Although
there
are
differences
between
Chinese
culture
and
American
culture,
it's
not
hard
for
me
to
get
used
to.
Chinese
culture
is
different,
but
Western
culture
is
as
well,
and
in
this
way,
they're
so
similar.
24.What
has
the
author
noticed
since
living
in
China?
A.Chinese
calligraphy
is
very
popular.
B.China
has
totally
changed
in
the
past
years.
C.What
was
taught
in
class
about
China
is
all
wrong.
D.What
she
learned
about
China
is
not
the
same
as
its
real
life.
25.What
does
the
underlined
sentence
in
Paragraph
4
mean?
A.Many
large
cities
in
China
have
a
large
population.
B.Shanghai
has
a
great
influence
on
other
large
cities.
C.Many
large
cities
in
China
have
been
westernized.
D.Shanghai
is
influenced
by
Western
culture
the
most.
26.What
is
the
text
mainly
about?
A.Various
facts
about
Shanghai
in
China.
B.The
author's
experience
with
Chinese
culture.
C.Western
influences
on
Chinese
people's
daily
life.
D.Differences
between
American
colleges
and
Chinese
ones.
C
For
more
than
a
century
it
was
thought
that
a
beautiful
face
was
appealing
because
it
was
a
collection
of
average
features.
Using
his
computer
system,
Dr
David
Perrett
of
the
University
of
St
Andrews
has
challenged
the
theory.
In
a
key
experiment,
photographs
of
women
were
ranked
for
their
attractiveness
by
a
number
of
volunteers.
Two
composite
(混合的)
pictures
were
then
created:
one,
the
average
of
all
the
pictures,
the
other
made
from
those
rated
most
attractive.
Although
the
faces
looked
very
similar
at
first
sight,
most
people
said
they
preferred
the
composite
of
most
attractive
faces.
“The
conclusion
I
reached,”
said
Dr
Perrett,
“was
that
the
most
attractive
face
was
not
average.
If
you
look
at
famous
film
stars
and
supermodels,
most
of
them
have
ideal
(理想的)
features

larger
than
normal
eyes,
higher
arched
eyebrows,
slightly
smaller
noses,
and
higher
cheekbones
(颧骨).
Even
popular
cartoon
characters
such
as
Betty
Boop,
Yasmin
from
Aladdin
and
Bambi
have
big
eyes,
small
turned?up
noses,
big
mouths
and
small
chins.
And
if
these
features
are
exaggerated,
the
attractiveness
rating
goes
up
even
more.
Julia
Roberts
is
a
good
example
of
this.”
But
what
do
scientists
make
of
men's
faces?
Do
men
with
large
eyes,
high
cheekbones
and
a
small
chin
have
the
same
appeal?
Researchers
were
a
bit
shocked
at
the
top?ranking
male
face.
They
expected
it
to
have
the
classic
square
jaw
and
strong
cheekbones,
but
instead,
women
seem
to
prefer
men
with
gentle
faces.
Dr
Perrett
puts
forward
a
reason
to
explain
why
so
many
women
now
go
for
baby?faced
stars
such
as
Leonardo
DiCaprio
and
Jude
Law.
Women
like
a
man
with
a
feminine
(女性化的)
face
because
he
is
more
likely
to
make
a
kinder
and
more
trustworthy
husband
and
father.
But
do
these
ideals
of
beauty
manage
to
cross
cultural
boundaries?
Are
the
same
features
considered
to
be
attractive
all
over
the
world?
A
worldwide
study
carried
out
by
Professor
Cunningham
of
the
University
of
Louisville,
Kentucky
concluded
that
there
were
only
very
subtle
differences
between
different
cultures.
In
other
words,
although
there
might
be
a
little
truth
in
the
old
saying
that
beauty
is
in
the
eye
of
the
beholder,
by
and
large,
we
all
seem
to
be
attracted
to
the
same
things.
27.Dr
Perrett
reached
his
conclusion
mainly
by
________.
A.telling
true
stories
B.making
comparisons
C.setting
down
general
rules
D.following
the
order
of
importance
28.According
to
Dr
Perrett's
theory,
Julia
Roberts
is
considered
very
________.
A.appealing
B.intelligent
C.successful
D.trustworthy
29.Which
of
the
following
features
of
men
is
most
attractive
to
women?
A.Large
eyes.
B.Baby
faces.
C.Big
mouths.
D.High
cheekbones.
30.According
to
the
author,
people
from
different
cultures
________.
A.seem
to
pay
little
attention
to
their
differences
B.have
completely
different
views
about
beauty
C.have
managed
to
cross
cultural
boundaries
D.seem
to
have
the
similar
standard
of
beauty

第二节:概要写作(满分25分)
Why
I
love
The
Devil
Wears
Prada
One
of
my
favourite
films
is
The
Devil
Wears
Prada.
It
follows
the
story
of
Andrea
(referred
to
as
Andy),
who
applies
to
be
the
assistant
of
Miranda
Priestly
at
a
fashion
magazine
called
Runway.
I
am
going
to
share
with
you
why
I
love
the
film
so
much.
Firstly,
it's
a
really
stylish
film.
Andrea
wears
some
great
outfits
(全套服装)
and
Emily,
Andrea's
co?worker,
is
always
in
style.
While
Andrea's
style
is
classic,
Emily
takes
more
risks
with
her
clothes
and
make?up;
I
like
the
green
metallic
eye
shadow
she
wears
and
she
likes
to
wear
lots
of
eyeliner.
Andrea
starts
her
job
at
Runway
as
a
recent
graduate
interested
in
journalism,
not
in
fashion.
However,
as
the
film
progresses,
she
realises
she
has
to
take
more
of
an
interest
in
fashion
in
order
to
fit
in.
She
gets
help
from
her
colleague
Nigel
and
starts
wearing
some
really
stylish
outfits.
Emily,
on
the
other
hand,
admires
Runway
and
fashion.
It
is
clear
that
what
she
wears
every
day
is
vital
to
her.
Another
reason
why
I
love
the
film
is
that
it
has
some
really
funny
moments.
Emily
is
very
funny
without
even
trying
to
be.
She
has
so
much
attitude.
For
example,
when
she
is
in
hospital
after
injuring
herself,
she
speaks
really
angrily
to
Andrea
about
Andrea
going
to
Paris
for
work
instead
of
her,
and
then
smiles
really
sweetly
at
the
man
bringing
her
food
to
her
hospital
bed;
the
contrast
made
me
laugh!
We
get
to
see
some
great
cities
in
the
film
too.
When
Andrea
and
the
Runway
team
go
to
Paris,
we
see
beautiful
views
of
the
city.
It
looks
so
stylish
and
romantic.
We
also
see
New
York
City,
not
just
the
fashionable
parts
but
normal,
everyday
life
such
as
Andrea
and
her
boyfriend's
apartment
and
New
Yorkers
going
about
their
daily
business
on
the
streets.
Overall,
The
Devil
Wears
Prada
is
a
really
fun
and
entertaining
film.

It's

to

that

W:What

M:Well,
I

and
then
the

W:That's
a

so

and
I
have
to

You

M:I'm

they're
your

his
wife
and
their
daughters,
Sarah
and
Jane.
W:Is
Uncle
Bill
your
brother?
M:No,
your

Jack
is
my

and
Bill
is
my
brother?in?law,
your
mom's

W:So
his

Sarah

Bill's

When
she

She

Sarah's

M:Yes,
sometimes
