Language points
We all look different.
我们看起来都不同。
look系动词 “看上去”, 后面接形容词
作表语。类似的动词还有feel “摸上去”,
taste “尝起来”, smell “闻起来”。
It feels hard. 它摸上去很硬。
The soup smells good. 这汤味道很好。
2. She has short blond hair.
她留着棕色短发。
He has three black hairs. 他有三根头发。
在英语中, 名词大致可分为可数名词和
不可数名词。句一中的hair是不可数名
词, 指的是满头的头发, 不可数名词没有
单、复之分。hair在多数情况下是不可
数名词。
My hair is black. 我的头发是黑色的。
Linda has long red hair.
琳达留着长长的红头发。
(2) 句二中的hair是可数名词, 所以可以
加-s变复数。 hair如果侧重指 “一
根一根的头发”时, 是可数名词。
He has five white hairs.
他有五根白头发。
