During this past year, I've had three instances of car trouble. Each time these things happened, I was sick of the way most people hadn't bothered to help. One of those times, I was on the side of the road for close to three hours with my big Jeep. I put signs in the windows, big signs that said NEEDAJACK (千斤顶), and offered money. Nothing. Right as I was about to give up, a Mexican family in a small truck pulled over, and the father bounded out.
He sized up the situation and called for his daughter, who spoke English. He conveyed trough her that he had a jack but that it was too small for the Jeep, so we would need something to support it. Then he got a saw (锯子) from the truck and cut a section out of a big log on the side of the road. We rolled it over and put his jack on top, and we were in business.
trouble.
Each
time
these
things
happened,
I
was
sick
of
the
way
most
people
hadn't
bothered
to
help.
One
of
those
times,
I
was
on
the
side
of
the
road
for
close
to
three
hours
with
my
big
Jeep.
I
put
signs
in
the
windows,
big
signs
that
said
NEEDAJACK
and
offered
money.
Nothing.
Right
as
I
was
about
to
give
up,
a
Mexican
family
in
a
small
truck
pulled
over,
and
the
father
bounded
out.
He
sized
up
the
situation
and
called
for
his
daughter,
who
spoke
English.
He
conveyed
trough
her
that
he
had
a
jack
but
that
it
was
too
small
for
the
Jeep,
so
we
would
need
something
to
support
it.
Then
he
got
a
saw
from
the
truck
and
cut
a
section
out
of
a
big
log
on
the
side
of
the
road.
We
rolled
it
over
and
put
his
jack
on
top,
and
we
were
in
business.
I
stared
taking
the
wheel
off,
and
then,
if
you
can
believe
it,
I
broke
his
tire
iron.
No
worries:
He
handed
it
to
his
wife,
and
she
was
gone
in
a
flash
down
the
road
to
buy
a
new
tire
iron.
She
was
back
in
15
minutes.
We
finished
the
job,
and
I
was
a
very
happy
man.
The
two
of
us
were
dirty
and
sweaty.
His
wife
prepared
a
pot
of
water
for
us
to
wash
our
hands.
I
tried
to
put
a
$20
bill
in
the
man's
hand,
but
he
wouldn't
take
it,
so
instead
I
went
up
to
the
truck
and
give
it
to
his
wife
as
quietly
as
I
could,
I
asked
the
little
girl
where
they
lived.
Mexico,
she
said.
They
were
in
Oregon
so
Mommy
and
Daddy
could
work
on
a
fruit
farm
for
the
next
few
weeks.
Then
they
would
go
home.

When
I
was
about
to
say
goodbye,
the
girl
asked
if
I’d
had
lunch.
Not
until
that
moment
did
I
realize
my
stomach
had
been
rumbling
with
hunger.
After
waiting
eagerly
on
the
curb
and
an
hour
of
hard
work,
I
was
starved
and
exhausted.
“No,
I
haven’t
had
lunch,

I
replied.
Hearing
my
faint
voice,
she
rushed
back
to
their
truck
in
which
she
seemed
to
be
fumbling
for
something
and
returned
with
a
paper
bag
after
a
short
while.
Without
a
word
she
offered
the
bag
to
me
and
quickly
took
off
with
her
parents
before
I
could
say
thank
you.
After
they
left,
I
got
into
my
Jeep
and
opened
the
paper
bag.
There
lied
three
delicious-looking
tacos.
I
also
found
a
note
that
said,
“My
family
and
I
are
happy
to
help
you.”
Since
I
was
so
hungry,
I
started
to
devour
them.
When
I
was
gobbling,
I
was
suddenly
overwhelmed
by
waves
of
mixed
feelings-the
loneliness
of
waiting
with
a
broken
Jeep,
the
sadness
of
witnessing
people’s
indifference,
but
most
importantly,
the
relief
of
reassuring
the
existence
of
kindness
in
human
beings.
I
wiped
off
the
tears
streaming
down
my
face
and
was
once
again
fueled
up.
I
pressed
the
accelerator
and
hit
the
road,
with
love
and
warmth
in
heart.

Harry
was
afraid
of
the
wind,
I
blew
of
his
hat.
I
whistled
under
his
door.
It
made
the
iron
fence
murmur
scary
music.
“How
can
anyone
be
afraid
of
the
wind?”
asked
Harry's
friend
Antony
many
times.
Harry
shrugged.
Antony
always
comforted
him
and
encouraged
him.
Sometimes
that
made
Harry
feel
better.
But
not
for
long.
On
windy
days
Harry
sod
at
his
window
and
watched
Antony
riding
his
bike,
whose
hair
flew
in
the
wind.
He
watched
his
friend
playing
cheerfully
in
the
wind,
wishing
he
weren't
afraid.
One
day
Antony
came
to
Harry's
house
to
play.
“Look
at
my
glider(滑翔机),”
said
Antony.
“It
does
tricks
and
loop-de-loops
when
I
fly
it
outside
in
the
wind.”
“Nice,”
said
Harry.
When
clouds
rolled
in,
the
tree
in
front
of
Harry's
house
swung.
A
garbage
can
top
clattered(发出撞击声)
down
the
street.
Antony
couldn't
wait
to
fly
the
glider
outside
and
invited
Harry
to
play
together,
but
he
refused.
Harry
staved
inside
and
played
with
his
construction
set.
He
pictured
launching
the
glider
with
Antony.
But
when
he
imagined
the
wind
blowing
against
his
face
and
blowing
off
his
hat,
he
shivered.
Harry
drew
pictures
of
Antony's
glider
lifting
with
the
wind.
Gradually,
hearing
the
happy
laughter
and
shouts
of
more
children
outside,
he
felt
sad
to
be
in
his
room
while
everyone
else
was
there.
Harry
began
to
make
a
kite.
He
took
two
sticks
from
his
craft
bin
and
crossed
them.
He
tied
them
together
and
made
a
diamond
shape
with
four
more
sticks.
He
glued
the
colored
paper
onto
the
sticks
and
attached
a
ball
of
string
to
make
a
rudder(方向舵).
He
held
the
kite
up
high,
his
twinkling
eyes
staring
at
it.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________【答案】He
pretended
the
kite
was
flying
against
the
clouds.
His
cheeks
glowed
as
he
danced
around
the
room.
But
after
a
while,
he
got
tired
of
pretending.
Outside
the
window
Antony's
glider
was
making
brilliant
circles,
flying
upside
down,
children's
claps
echoing.
At
the
sight
of
this,
Harry
stopped,
ducked
his
head
and
sighed.
He
was
tired
of
feeling
afraid.
Suddenly
a
ripple
of
courage
welling
up
from
his
heart,
he
wanted
to
step
outside
and
fly
the
kite
in
the
wind.
He
yelled
to
encourage
himself,
“I
AM
NOT
AFRAID!”
Then
Harry
took
his
kite
and
went
outside.
The
wind
blowing
on
his
face,
he
hesitated.
At
that
moment,
Antony’s
spiraling
glider
landed
beside
his
feet.
“Come
on,
Harry!”
Antony
came
rushing
toward
him
and
yelled
in
an
exhilarated
tone.
Harry
took
a
deep
breath,
summoned
up
the
courage
and
joined
him
Harry
tried
to
let
his
kite
go,
Antony
standing
behind
to
help
him.
Seeing
the
kite
riding
the
wind,
Harry
couldn't
contain
his
excitement
and
picked
up
his
speed.
The
wind
blew
so
hard
that
it
blew
off
his
hat,
but
surprisingly
he
didn't
mind.
Harry
let
out
the
string
and
the
kite
climbed
higher,
the
kite's
vivid
colors
sparkling
in
the
sunlight.

When
Jayce
Crowder
was
in
kindergarten,
he
began
noticing
that
he
looked
different
from
his
classmates.
They
had
two
hands.
But
he
had
only
one.
It
started
when
one
boy
teased
him.
Jayce
was
in
a
bad
mood.
He'd
return
home
in
Des
Moines,
Iowa,
with
questions:
Why
am
I
different?
Why
me?
Why?
"He
actually
told
us
that
he
was
mad
at
looking
so
different
from
others,"
said
his
mother,
Cortney
Lewis.
"That
really
hurt
him."
Lewis
admitted
she
didn't
know
what
to
do
at
that
point.
How
could
she
provide
answers
to
her
son's
questions
when
she
had
never
found
those
answers
herself?
A
few
weeks
later,
Lewis
came
home
from
her
job
and
turned
on
the
TV
to
a
news
story
about
Trashaun
Willis,
an
eighth
grader
from
Washington
middle
school,
Iowa.
The
boy,
then
14,
had
become
an
Internetstar
after
posting
videos
of
his
slam
dunk(扣篮),
and,
like
Jayce,
he
was
missing
most
of
his
left
arm.
Lewis
called
Jayce
in.
He
was
shocked,
staring
at
one
dunk
after
another.
At
the
time,
it
seemed
that
watching
Trashaun
would
simply
be
an
inspiring
moment
for
Jayce—he'd
see
a
shining
role
model
with
a
seemingly
similar
born
disability.
And
had
it
stayed
just
that,
Lewis
would
have
been
happy.
But
little
did
she
know
that
a
family
friend
had
already
reached
out
to
the
Des
Moines
Register,
asking
the
newspaper
to
help
set
up
a
meeting
with
Trashaun
to
encourage
Jayce
and
build
his
confidence.

Paragraph
1:
A
few
days
later,
the
good
news
that
Trashaun
accepted
the
invitation
to
meet
Jayce
came.
Finally,
the
boys
met
at
Washington
Middle
School
on
a
Saturday
afternoon
a
couple
of
months
later
and
they
instantly
bonded.
The
day
was
not
spent
on
self-pity.
Instead,
they
rode
bikes
around
the
school's
hallways,
took
photos,
and
played
basketball
together.
Trashaun
taught
Jayce
how
to
slam
dunks,
even
giving
him
a
basketball
as
a
gift.
He
told
Jayce
he
was
perfect
the
way
he
looked.
He
encouraged
him
not
to
let
anyone
drag
him
down
and
shake
his
confidence.
Paragraph
2:
After
the
meeting,
Jayce
learned
to
accept
his
disability.
He
began
to
understand
that
there
are
many
people
like
him
and
came
to
adapt
himself
to
his
disability.
He
recently
started
practising
shooting
basketball
every
day
and
he
really
loves
it.
Jayce
often
chats
with
Trashaun
on
the
Internet
about
basketball
skills
as
well
as
some
school
issues.
He
is
really
motivated
by
this
role
model
and
has
a
positive
attitude
to
his
future
life.
As
for
Trashaun,
he
never
dreamed
that
his
videos
would
have
such
an
impact.
His
relationship
with
Jayce
made
him
look
forward
to
helping
more
kids.

It
was
Christmas
Day.
Pappy
was
working
alone
fixing
an
old
lantern
in
the
backroom
when
he
heard
the
ringing
of
his
bell
on
the
shop
door.
The
bell,
which
produced
a
uniquely
pleasant
sound,
had
been
in
Pappy’s
family
for
over
a
hundred
years.
He
valued
it
dearly
and
enjoyed
sharing
its
song
with
all
who
came
to
his
shop.
Although
the
bell
hung
on
the
inside
of
the
main
door,
Pappy
had
tied
a
wire
to
the
screen
door
so
that
it
would
ring
whether
the
inner
door
was
open
or
not.
Hearing
the
bell,
he
left
the
backroom
to
greet
his
customer.
“And
how
can
I
help
you,
little
lady?”
Pappy’s
voice
was
joyful.
“Hello,
sir.”
The
little
girl
spoke
almost
in
a
whisper.
She
looked
at
Pappy
with
her
big
brown
eyes,
and
then
slowly
scanned
the
room
in
search
of
something
special.
Shyly
she
told
him,
“I’d
like
to
buy
a
present,
sir.”
“Well,
let’s
see,”
Pappy
said,
“who
is
this
present
for?”
“My
grandpa.
It’s
for
my
grandpa.
But
I
don’t
know
what
to
get.”
Pappy
began
to
make
suggestions.
“How
about
a
pocket
watch?
It’s
in
good
condition.”
The
little
girl
didn’t
answer.
She
had
walked
to
the
doorway
and
put
her
small
hand
on
the
door.
She
shook
the
door
gently
to
ring
the
bell.
Pappy’s
face
seemed

with
excitement.
“This
is
just
right,”
the
little
girl
said.
“Momma
says
grandpa
loves
music.”
Just
then,
Pappy’s
expression
changed.
Fearful
of
breaking
the
little
girl’s
heart,
he
told
her,
“I’m
sorry,
Missy.
That’s
not
for

Maybe
your
grandpa
would
like
this
little
radio.”
The
girl
looked
at
the
radio,
bowed
her
head,
and
sadly
sighed,
“No,
I
don’t
think
so.”
In
an
effort
to
help
her
understand,
Pappy
told
her
that
the
bell
had
been
his
only
companion,
for
the
rest
of
his
family
were
all
gone
now,
except
for
his
estranged

daughter
whom
he
had
not
seen
for
nearly
a
decade.

Suddenly
Pappy
thought
of
his

Feeling
a

Pappy
called
out,
“How

At

the

Pappy

“Today

The

Holding

the

stepped
in.
Holding

she
gently
said,
“Hello,

Peter
walked
home
from
school.
Salty
tears
ran
down
his
cheeks,
and
his
stomach
hurt.
He
didn't
know
what
to
do.
Nokomis
was
waiting
for
him
on
the
front
porch.
''What's
wrong,
Biyen?''
said
Peter's
grandmother.
Biyen
was
the
Ojibwe
name
for
Peter,
He
called
her
Nokomis,
which
meant
grandmother.
Peter
looked
up.
''I
have
to
give
a
presentation
where
I
talk
about
a
family
tradition.
I
know
we
have
lots
of
beliefs
and
customs.
Can
you
remind
me
of
one?
''
Nokomis
smiled
and
nodded
with
a
smile.
''Come
with
me,
''
she
said
softly.
Peter
followed
Nokomis.
She
went
to
a
closet,
stretched
to
reach
the
top
shelf
and
pulled
out
a
small
box.
She
handed
it
to
Peter,
asking
him
to
open
it.
Peter
opened
the
box.
Present
before
him
was
a
wooden
hoop
It
was
in
the
shape
of
a
circle.
String
was
woven
and
twisted
around
the
hoop.
It
looked
like
a
spider
web.
A
black
bead
sat
near
the
center
with
feathers
hanging
from
the
bottom.
Seeing
it,
Peter
wiped
away
his
tears
and
smiled.
''This
is
a
dream
catcher,
''
said
Nokomis.
''Our
people
have
made
these
for
many
years.
Circles
are
symbols
of
unity
and
strength.
Let's
hang
it
over
your
bed
tonight.
It
will
catch
your
bad
dreams
in
the
web,
and
your
good
dreams
will
fall
through
the
center.
Maybe
it
will
give
you
courage
to
do
your
presentation.''
Looking
at
Nokomis,
Peter
asked
whether
he
could
take
that
to
school.
Nokomis
refused
because
the
dream
catcher
was
extremely
precious,
which
meant
a
lot
to
her.
Peter
felt
disappointed
at
her
words
because
he
wanted
to
share
the
dream
catcher
with
his
class,
''We
could
make
you
one,''
said
Nokomis.
''I'd
like
that!
''
cried
Peter
in
excitement.
Without
delay,
Nokomis
and
Peter
worked
together
and
they
made
a
dream
catcher.

In
2004,
my
husband,
Joe
and
I
worked
in
a
design
company
in
Arizona.
One
day,
when
we
got
back
home
after
work,
my
ten-year-old
daughter,
Becky
and
Joe
were
united
in
their
desire
for
a
dog.
As
for
me,
I
shared
none
of
theirs.
But
why,
they
pleaded(恳求).
“Because
I
don’t
have
time
to
take
care
of
a
dog.”
“But
we’ll
do
it.”
“Really?
You’re
going
to
walk
the
dog?
Feed
the
dog?
Bathe
the
dog?”
“Yes,
yes,
and
yes.

“I
don’t
believe
you.”
“We
will.
We
promise.”
They
didn’t.
Everyone
wanted
to
walk
the
cute
dog
that
first
day.
From
day
two,
neither
thought
to
walk
the
dog.
While
I
was
slow
to
accept
that
I
would
be
the
one
to
keep
track
of
her
shots,
to
feed
and
clean
her,
Misty
knew
this
on
day
one.
As
she
looked
up
at
the
three
new
humans
in
her
life,
she
calculated,
“The
medium
one
is
the
most
reliable.”
Quickly,
she
and
I
developed
something
very
similar
to
a
Vulcan
mind
meld(心灵相通).
She’d
look
at
me
with
those
sad
brown
eyes
of
hers,
send
her
need,
and
then
wait,
trusting
I
would
understand—which,
strangely,
I
almost
always
did.
In
no
time,
she
would
extend
across
my
stomach
as
I
watched
television,
and
snored
on
my
home-office
couch
as
I
worked
on
my
design.
Even
so,
part
of
me
continued
to
reject
walking
duty,
Joe
and
Becky
had
promised.
“Not
fair”,
I
said
to
myself
as
she
and
I
walked.
“Not
fair,”
I’d
loudly
remind
anyone
within
earshot
upon
our
return
home.
In
September,
2008,
the
Great
Depression
hit
the
Arizona.
With
that,
my
husband
and
I
were
both
laid
off
overnight.
During
the
following
six
months,
Joe
and
I
hurriedly
rushed
here
and
there
to
seek
a
new
job,
doing
anything
and
everything
we
could
to
request
employment.
Every
part
of
my
life
changed;
no
part
of
my
old
routine
remained.
However,
Misty
still
needed
walking.

Upset
as
I
was,
I
had
to
walk
Misty
while
looking
for
a
job.
At
the
beginning,
when
friends
offered
to
take
her,
I
didn’t
accept
their
offer.
The
walk
in
the
morning
before
I
hunted
for
a
job
was
a
quiet,
peaceful
time
to
gather
my
thoughts
or
to
rest.
The
evening
walk
was
a
time
to
shake
off
the
day’s
upsets
and
let
the
worry
tracks
in
my
head
disappear.
Months
going
by,
my
life
changed
a
little
and
I
came
to
enjoy
my

with
Misty.
She
was
so
joyous
that
even
on
the
worst
days
she
could
make
me
smile,
because
she
understood
me.
On
a
daily
basis
she
reminded
me
that
life
went
on.
Misty
shared
my
my

and
became
my
comfort
when
I
was
in
despair.
She
inspired
me
to
face
up
to
the
difficulty.
Upset
as
I

and
I
came
to
enjoy
my
walks
with
Misty.
my
joys
and
sorrows,
in
despair,
inspire…

“Were
you
Mark’s
math
teacher?”
An
old
man
came
to
my
office
and
asked.
I
nodded.
“Mark
talked
about
you
a
lot.
I
want
to
show
you
something,”
he
said,
taking
a
wallet
out
of
his
pocket.
“They
found
this
on
him
when
he
was
killed
in
the
battle.
We
thought
you
might
recognize
it.”
Opening
the
wallet,
he
carefully
removed
two
worn
pieces
of
notebook
paper
that
had
obviously
been
taped,
folded
and
refolded
many
times.
I
knew
without
looking
that
the
papers
were
the
ones
on
which
I
had
listed
all
the
good
things
each
of
Mark’s
classmates
had
said
about
him.
And
that
happened
20
years
ago.
Mark
was
in
the
third
grade
class
I
taught.
All
34
of
my
students
were
dear
to
me,
but
Mark
was
one
in
a
million.
Very
neat
in
appearance,
he
had
that
happy-to-be-alive
attitude
that
made
even
his
occasional
misbehavior
delightful.
Mark
also
talked
without
stopping.
I
tried
to
remind
him
again
and
again
that
talking
without
permission
was
unacceptable.
What
impressed
me
so
much,
though,
was
the
sincere
response
every
time
I
had
to
correct
him
for
misbehaving.
“Thank
you
for
correcting
me,
Sister!”
I
didn’t
know
what
to
make
of
it
at
first
but
before
long
I
became
accustomed
to
hearing
it
many
times
a
day.
One
morning
my
patience
was
growing
thin
when
Mark
talked
once
too
often.
I
made
a
new-teacher’s
mistake.
I
looked
at
Mark
and
said,
“If
you
say
one
more
word,
I
am
going
to
tape
your
mouth
shut!”
It
wasn’t
ten
seconds
later
when
Chuck
shouted,
“Mark
is
talking
again.”
I
hadn’t
asked
any
of
the
students
to
help
me
watch
Mark,
but
since
I
had
stated
the
punishment
in
front
of
the
class,
I
had
to
act
on
it.

walked
to
my
desk
and
took
out
a
roll
of
tape.”
roll
of
day
I
decided
to
do
something
different
when
Mark
talked
again
in

The
event
that
stands
out
in
Tom’s
memory
happened
one
morning
when
Tom
was
only
ten
years
old.
He
was
at
home
with
his
elder
sister
Jane.
Tom
was
doing
his
homework
when
he
heard
raised
voices.
At
first
he
thought
nothing
of
it
since
customers
in
the
motorcycle
shop
directly
below
their
flat
often
became
loud,
but
he
soon
realized
this
time
it
was
different.
“Quick!
Quick!
Remove
the
motorcycles
from
the
shop.”
someone
yelled.
Then
a
thick
burning
smell
filled
the
air.
When
Tom
opened
the
front
door
of
their
flat
to
investigate,
a
thick
cloud
of
smoke
greeted
him.
The
motorcycle
shop
had
caught
fire
and
people
were
running
and
crying.
Jane,
who
had
been
playing
the
violin
in
her
room,
hurried
to
the
living
room.
They
rushed
out
of
the
door
and
along
the
corridor(走廊)through
the
smoke.
They
were
heading
towards
the
stairway
at
the
far
end
of
the
corridor
when
Jane
stopped
in
her
track.
She
turned
around
and
headed
back
the
way
they
came.
Tom
had
no
idea
what
she
was
doing,
but
he
followed
suit.
Jane
had
suddenly
remembered
the
lady
in
her
70s
who
lived
next
door
to
them,
who
they
called
Makcik,
Malay
for
auntie.
Jane
began
banging
on
Makcik’s
door,
but
got
no
answer.
As
the
smoke
thickened
around
them,
Tom
could
see
many
of
their
neighbors—some
still
in
their
pyjamas—running
for
safety.
The
thought
of
fear
crossed
his
mind.
“She
would
have
run
for
safety
like
everyone
else!”
Tom
cried.
However,
Jane
refused
to
give
up.
“I
know
Makcik’s
still
inside.”
She
said
she
was
familiar
with
Makcik’s
daily
routine
and
was
certain
she
would
still
be
sleeping.
She
pounded
the
door.
“Go
downstairs.
Go
now!
Go!”

Late
Night
at
the
Zoo
A
zoo
keeper
had
been
working
at
a
zoo
for
15
years
and
never
experienced
any
problems.
He
always
worked
the
evening
shifts
because
he
was
trusted
to
properly
lock
up
the
zoo.
On
a
warm
summer
night
in
late
June,
the
zoo
keeper
turned
off
the
lights
and
wished
all
of
his
animals
a
good
night.
He
left
the
zoo
and
walked
to
his
car
in
the
parking
lot.
As
he
reached
in
his
back
pocket
he
realized
that
his
keys
had
gone
missing.
He
rapidly
turned
around
and
realized
he
had
left
them
inside
the
zoo.
He
quickly
walked
back
towards
the
Zoo's
entrance
hoping
he
would
see
them
along
the
way.
When
he
arrived
at
the
door,
to
his
surprise,
the
door
was
unlocked.
In
fear
of
setting
off
the
alarm
that
he
had
just
set,
he
did
not
turn
on
the
lights.
The
zoo
keeper
turned
on
the
flashlight
on
his
phone
and
began
to
make
his
way
to
the
office.
He
looked
around
at
all
the
animals
in
their
cages
and
thought
to
himself
how
different
the
zoo
becomes
at
night.
When
he
walked
by
the
lion's
cages,
he
could
see
the
young
cubs
playing
together.
He
liked
the
zoo
better
at
this
hour
because
night
was
when
the
animals
come
to
life.
At
last,
he
made
it
back
to
the
office.
Unfortunately
this
time,
he
was
not
so
lucky.
The
office
door
was
locked
and
he
knew
that
if
he
were
to
break
the
window,
he
would
set
off
the
alarm.
Knowing
there
was
no
way
inside,
the
zoo
keeper
began
to
weigh
his
options.
He
knew
he
could
not
get
into
his
home
without
his
keys,
so
he
decided
it
would
be
best
to
spend
the
night
inside
the
zoo.
The
zoo
keeper
walked
towards
the
bird
cages
because
he
knew
he
could
sleep
comfortably
on
the
benches
near
the
stage.
A
few
hours
later,
the
zoo
keeper
heard
a
door
slam
that
woke
him
up.
“Quiet!”
a
voice
whispered.
“What?
There's
no
one
here”
another
voice
said,
“The
old
man
left
hours
ago.”
“Alright,
let's
just
grab
the
animals
and
get
out
of
here.”
The
zoo
keeper
didn't
know
what
to
do.
“What
if
they
were
armed?”
the
zoo
keeper
thought
to
himself.
He
listened
closely
and
realized
there
was
a
group
of
burglars
in
the
zoo.
