(A)
Do
you
want
to
live
a
happier,
less
stressful(有压力的)
life?
Try
laughing
for
no
reason
at
all.
That’s
how
millions
of
people
start
their
day
at
Laughter(笑声)
Clubs
around
the
world
and
many
doctors
now
think
that
having
a
good
laugh
might
be
one
of
the
best
ways
to
stay
healthy.
The
first
Laughter
Club
was
started
in
Mumbai,
India,
in
1995
by
Dr.
Madan
Kataria.“Young
children
laugh
about
300
times
a
day.
Adults
laugh
between
7
and
15
times
a
day,”
says
Dr.
Kataria.
“Everyone
is
naturally
good
at
laughing

it’s
the
common
language.
We
want
people
to
feel
happy
with
their
lives.”
There
are
now
more
than
500
Laughter
Clubs
in
India
and
over
1,300
in
the
world.
Many
doctors
are
also
interested
in
the
effects(效果)
of
laughter
on
our
health.
According
to
a
5-year
study
at
the
UCLA
School
of
Medicine
in
California,
with
laughing
there
is
less
stress
in
the
body.
Laughter
improves
our
health
against
illness
by
about
40%.
So
what
happens
at
a
Laughter
Club?
I
went
along
to
my
nearest
club
in
South
London
to
find
out.
I
was
quite
nervous
at
the
beginning
of
the
class,
to
be
honest,
I
wasn’t
interested
in
laughing
with
a
group
of
strangers,
and
I
was
worried
about
looking
silly.
Our
laughter
teacher
told
us
to
clap
our
hands
and
say
“ho
ho
ho,
ha
ha
ha”
while
looking
at
each
other.
However,
our
bodies
can’t
tell
the
difference
between
real
laughter
and
unreal
laughter,
so
they
still
produce
the
same
healthy
effects.
Surprisingly,
it
works!
After
ten
minutes
everybody
in
the
room
was
laughing
for
real
and
some
people
just
couldn’t
stop!
At
the
end
of
the
class
I
was
surprised
by
how
relaxed
and
comfortable
I
felt.
So
if
you’re
under
stress,
then
start
laughing.
You
might
be
very
pleased
with
the
results.

Mr
Baker
worked
in
a
big
factory.
He
was
busy
all
the
time
and
had
little
time
to
rest.
One
summer,
he
decided
to
go
to
the
sea
to
spend
his
holidays.
One
afternoon,
it
was
very
hot.
Mr
Baker
came
into
a
restaurant,
sat
at
a
table
and
wanted
to
drink.
Just
then,
an
old
man
came
up
to
him
and
said,
“How
do
you
do,
sir?”
“How
do
you
do?”
Mr
Baker
asked
the
old
man
to
sit
next
to
him.
“Have
you
been
here
before?”
“No,
I
haven’t.”
“You
look
lonely,
don’t
you?”
said
the
old
man.
“Let’s
have
a
bet(打赌),
shall
we?”
It
interested
Mr
Baker,
“But
what
shall
we
bet
on?”
“I
can
bite
my
left
eyeball,”
said
the
old
man,
“I
can
bet
you
five
dollars.”
Mr
Baker
didn’t
believe
and
passed
$5
on
the
table.
The
old
man
took
out
his
glass
eyeball,
put
it
into
his
mouth
and
bite
it.
Mr
Baker
had
to
give
his
money.
“It
doesn’t
matter,
young
man,”
the
old
man
said.
“I’ll
give
you
a
chance
to
win
the
money
back.
I
can
also
bite
my
right
eye.
I’ll
bet
you
$10.”
“I’m
sure
he’s
able
to
see.
And
I
must
win
his
money,”
he
thought.
So
he
took
out
ten
dollars
from
his
wallet.
But
he
was
very
surprised,
the
old
man
took
out
his
false(假的)
teeth
and
bit
his
right
eye
with
it.
Then
he
put
the
money
into
his
pocket
and
went
away
quickly.

(C)
Sure,
it's
good
to
get
along
well
with(相处融洽)your
teachers
because
it
makes
the
time
happier
in
the
classroom.
And
yes,it's
good
to
get
along
well
with
your
teachers
because
it's
smart
to
learn
how
to
get
along
well
with
different
kinds
of
people
you'll
meet
in
your
life.
In
fact,if
kids
get
along
well
with
their
teachers,
they
will
not
only
learn
more,
but
also
feel
more
comfortable
about
asking
questions
and
getting
more
help.
This
makes
it
easier
for
them
to
learn
about
new
things
and
do
their
best
on
tests.
If
you
have
this
kind
of
relationship(关系)with
a
teacher,
you
can
turn
to
him
or
her
with
problems
in
school.
It
is
true
that
teachers
want
to
get
along
well
with
you
and
enjoy
seeing
you
learn.
But
teachers
and
students
sometimes
have
personality
clashes(个性冲突),it
can
happen
between
any
two
people.
If
you
show
your
teacher
that
you
want
to
make
the
situation(情况)better,
he
or
she
will
probably
do
everything
possible
to
make
that
happen.
By
helping
with
a
problem
like
this,you
learn
something
about
how
to
get
along
with
different
people.
However,
if
a
certain
teacher
isn't
your
favorite,you
can
still
have
a
successful
relationship
with
him
or
her,
especially
if
you
finish
your
duties(责任)as
a
student.
